CVC Capital Partners, the private equity firm on whose behalf Bernie Ecclestone acts, has sold off a 1.6 billion dollar (£1bn) stake in Formula 1 to three investors, one of which is America’s BlackRock. Part of CVC is expected to be floated on the Singapore Stock Exchange next month.
