Felipe Massa’s latest examination in Miami has proved successful. The Brazilian, who was struck by a steel spring in Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying, flew to the United States from hometown São Paulo on Sunday where specialists cleared the 28-year-old for cosmetic surgery in the area of his left eye socket.

Recuperating Schumacher returns to karting

Michael Schumacher has driven a go-kart for the first time since receiving news that he would not be able to replace Felipe Massa at Ferrari. Damage to the seven-time World Champion’s neck prevented a Formula One comeback at the European Grand Prix although the German is now karting again and pleased with Ferrari’s latest result.
