BMW prepare for new diffuser debut

The BMW team is hoping to put its depressing Monaco Grand Prix weekend behind it as it moves on to Turkey with a new double-diffuser this weekend. Currently eighth in the constructors’ championship, the Hinwil-based squad is hoping that its improved pace in Spain will also make a contribution in repairing their broken 2009 season.

Former driver Alexander Wurz is set to head the brand-new Team Superfund, possibly entering F1 next season. The Austrian, who last raced in 2007 for Williams, has been revealed as team principal to the squad which will be owned and funded by investment company Superfund and powered by Cosworth engines.
